Vintage bedside lamp from 1980's

Folding flexo, table or desk lamp vintage by fase lamps, bambino model, light grey color, from the 80s. Height 30 cm fully stretched and 16 cm closed, width 10 cm... Excellent state of preservation. It can be turned on and off with the switch or simply opening it. Vintage decoration lamp from the 80's made in spain by fase. Small, light, foldable, portable, resistant, very versatile. The switch is on the cable and turns on and off by opening and closing the lamp. Measures, at right angles, 19cm X 19cm and width 7cm. Barely weighs anything. Uses a narrow bulb 15w led included. It was designed and manufactured for fase by an outside company called lion's technology. It was distributed to 27 countries. Fase patented it in its own name in 1985. It is branded on the front and base. Spanish lighting manufacturer fase was founded in madrid in 1964 by industrial designer pedro martín. It was "a very modern design proposal for the time, never seen before"... And still is. Why. Because of the "totally original combination of metal and wood, fantastic chrome and a beautiful range of colors". Also because of its incredible movement capability, "thanks to a sophisticated ball-and-socket joint system conceived by fase's early designers". As a result, fase became a very popular brand in spain and was also successfully exported to europe and the united states, becoming one of the biggest business successes of spanish industry in the 1970s. All lamps are of european origin and have a european plug, although an adapter for the american plug can be fitted if desired.
