Space-age Holophane tulip floor lamp, 1970. Unique vintage creation. Holophane floor lamp. An old Parisian street lamp globe from the 1970s. Mounted on a period plastic tulip shade. This faceted glass shade is particularly striking and will complement any interior style. The electrical system has been rewired to current standards on the original base, with a single-pole foot switch. Fiberglass base. Height with base: 75cm. Diameter: approximately 40cm. Holophane S400, 1970. Spherical glass refractor designed and marketed by Europhane, then Thorn Europhane until 2012. This model was widespread in much of France during the 1970s and 1980s, and later in Spain. Also used in optics.
