Painting Watercolor "The House by the Lake" Landes by P. Valliez Dordogne

A watercolour painting depicting a house on the edge of a pond and signed by Philippe Valliez (a referenced artist whose favourite theme was the landscapes of Landes). Very good state of preservation, the colors remain fresh, sold with frame and marie louise, (I can remove the glass on request so as not to take any risks for the work). A monograph exists on the artist that you can easily find (see photo). Philippe Valliez was born in 1943 in Morocco where his father had a military career, he became passionate from an early age about painting, which became his hobby. He moved to Dax to open a framing workshop and a gallery of paintings. Seduced by the Landes landscapes, he devotes a large part of his time to representing them by the most varied techniques: watercolours, oils, acrylics, etc. and thus develops over time an artistic expression recognized and presented in many exhibitions. A former member of the French Artists' Society, he was awarded the Prix of the General Council of the Atlantic Pyrenees in 1985. View size: 21 / 27.5cm, with frame: 35 / 44 cm.
