A very pretty vintage French molded and cut glass liqueur decanter with an ornate stopper, likely dating from the 1930s or 1940s. This charming little bottle would be perfect in your bathroom for bubble bath or perhaps in your kitchen for dish soap or oils. It has a long neck that tapers to a point, and the main body of the decanter flares out from there. It is decorated with bands of cut glass with a ribbed effect and two other bands with a studded effect. The stopper is shaped like a pineapple and may not be original, but it seals tightly when screwed into the neck of the decanter. The decanter itself is in good vintage condition. The glass has some bubbles and a few scratches. The stopper appears to have a chip, but this is actually a spot where the molten glass wasn't cut very cleanly during manufacturing. This lovely carafe is 23 cm tall, including the stopper, and has a 7 cm diameter at the base. It weighs 260 g without packaging. A beautiful carafe/bottle that can have many "new" uses around the house.
