Maison Lecan presents this brutalist round table from the 1960s made of solid oak, in the spirit of Maison Regain's creations and the rustic French furniture of that era. Its standout feature is the central base. Four thick baluster-shaped boards intersect at right angles and rest on cross-shaped pads at the raised ends. The table has a real presence, and as there are no legs around the perimeter, no one bumps their knees. The tabletop is thick, with rounded edges and a beautiful oak grain. It rests on cross-shaped consoles, which are also shaped. Traditional assembly, heavy and robust construction. Weighing around 70 kg, it won't move. It is preserved in its original patina, with its original varnish having taken on a warm honey hue. There is a small chip in the varnish, visible in the photos. With a diameter of 132 cm, it comfortably seats 6 people, or 7 if you squeeze a bit. The height under the apron is very generous at 74 cm: there is really plenty of legroom. Dimensions: Diameter 132 cm, Height 78 cm / Height under apron: 74 cm. Ref LDP: 20261005-003.
