This original oil on canvas painting by welsh artist gwilym prichard is a positive riot of colour and life and is signed with the artist’s monogram in the lower left section. The painting shows a group of white arum lilies, with their distinctive golden yellow stamens, set against their tall deep green foliage the background is shades of bright blue, with a section of turquoise beneath the lilies, representing a vase, and a purple-coloured surface on which the vase stands. The paint has been applied in a generous manner with a palette knife, giving an impression of abundance and wellbeing. This is a joyous and uplifting piece.
