Although the Kuben lamp has long been attributed to Hans-Agne Jakobsson, its design is now recognised as the work of Björn Svensson during his time at Elidus. It remains one of the most sought-after Swedish light fixtures from that era, admired for its understated form and typical 1970s style. Characterised by its bold geometric silhouette and retro yellow finish, the Kuben combines architectural simplicity with a warm and intimate light. A recessed bulb, placed behind the characteristic grid diffuser of Elidus, softens glare while diffusing a gentle light, making it ideal for use as a bedside lamp, in a hallway, or as accent lighting. This vintage lamp is in excellent condition, showing only slight signs of wear due to careful use. It retains its original wall mountings with an integrated switch, is equipped with a Swedish plug, and is fully functional.
