Sublime sauce boat with handle (braising pan / small frying pan) in solid silver, cylindrical in shape with a slightly flared rim, featuring a trilobed spout and a turned wooden handle with a silver ferrule. It was used to warm or serve sauces, or even to prepare small quantities over a flame. Neoclassical / Empire style. 19th century period (1820-1880) Restoration / Second Empire trend.
