Suspended lamp model Egina designed by Angelo Mangiarotti and produced by Artemide. The satin opal glass diffuser features a series of concentric degrading rings (often referred to as the “Saffo” series), which creates a soft and diffused light. It is equipped with the classic extendable black spiral cable, typical of the era, which allowed for the adjustment of the light's height above a dining table or desk. It perfectly represents Mangiarotti's organic rationalism, where form follows function without sacrificing elegant aesthetics.
