2 beautiful bottles/vintage advertising figures representing 2 different realistic soldiers. 1 superb bottle/figurine empty of its contents, representing an irish soldier of the irish brigade of the austrian army around 1750. This soldier became the icon of the famous irish whiskey liqueur 'irish mist'. In polychrome porcelain with glossy glaze, imported for the usa, and made in italy in the 60s/70s. Dimensions: 48 cm high, the base measures 18 cm long by 11 cm wide. Its weight is 0.820 kig. In excellent condition, no lack, no cracks. 1 other very beautiful bottle/figurine empty of its contents, representing a soldier of the italian royal guard, also in polychrome porcelain with a brilliant glaze, with his helmet to which is attached a very long black mane (small interlude: did you know that this horsehair mane, originally, is not an aesthetic accessory, it had indeed a defense function. It protected the neck of soldiers from sabre blows from behind. The enemy then had to have a very sharp blade to pass through). It is numbered 529 in relief under the base. Dimensions: 49 cm high, the base measures 12 cm long by 10 cm wide - its weight is 0.980 kg. In excellent condition, no lack, no cracks. 2 very beautiful pieces of collection and decoration.
