Set of three pieces of Japanese Satsuma-style ceramics, comprising: a baluster vase, a globular vase, and a covered box. These pieces are richly decorated with figurative scenes, traditional Japanese characters, floral and symbolic motifs, executed in polychrome enamels enhanced with golden details, characteristic of Satsuma production intended for export in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The subtle palette of beiges, browns, blues, and ochres, combined with a crackled ivory background, gives the ensemble great decorative elegance. The scenes are finely detailed, with a beautiful quality of execution. Origin: Japan. Period: late 19th – early 20th century. Style: Satsuma. Technique: earthenware / glazed and gilded ceramics. Condition: Generally good condition.
