Art Deco torch lamp with flame globe and Napoleon III base - torch lamp

Large and imposing torch lamp composed of a baluster base in blackened wood from the Napoléon III period, finely turned on a circular stepped base. The base is topped with a brass structure that holds a Belle Époque glass shade in frosted glass. This diffuser, sculpted in the shape of a flame with vivid reliefs, offers a soft and textured light thanks to its frosted finish. The contrast between the depth of the black wood and the translucency of the glass gives the object an elegant and graphic presence. The electrical system has been redone for safe use, with a standard E27 socket, sold without a bulb. The whole is in very good condition, with no chips on the glass. Total height: 58 cm.
