Side table, pedestal table, 1980s

Vintage postmodern round coffee table in laminated wood and glass. A playful example of 80s design, this table has a wide range of possible functions, from a side/end/coffee table to a dumb service, a bar or even as a bedside table. It consists of a main chromed steel pole that connects a circular glass top and a circular laminated formica base on wheels. In the middle of the table, a black powder coated metal ladder is embellished with a few wooden spheres. Origin: unknown manufacturer, most likely made in the 1980s. Condition: in good vintage condition. The whole structure is stable, the wheels still work well. The glass top is not dented or cracked, although there are some light surface scratches. The chrome pole is slightly tilted. No rust, some light wear on the chrome, common with time. The laminate base has some micro scratches and a light ding.
