Antique Persian Shiraz carpet, 1900s, 225x162 cm

Hand-woven antique persian shiraz rug. Made around 1900 in southern persia. A nomadic product with distinctive geometric ornamentation and vivid colors. The carpet thread is made of 100% wool dyed with natural plant pigments. A warp made of raw wool and horsehair, which characterizes the old nomadic persian carpets and rugs from those years. It is in great condition, despite its age, it has little signs of use. As befits old nomadic products, the shape of the carpet is not perfectly regular, so the sizes given are approximate. I fit perfectly in a designer interior.
