Mid-century wood and plexiglass floor lamp, Germany 1960s

Mid-century space age floor lamp. The large 60 cm globe is mounted in a wood 5-point frame. The globe is made from plexiglass discs, giving it an amazing geometric pattern reminiscent of designs by Verner Panton. The globe is mounted in a wooden 5-point frame. The lamp has been rewired and has a single E27 bulb holder. For use in the US, a 110 volts E26 bulb can be used. Overall, the lamp is in good vintage condition with signs of wear consistent with age and use.
