Vintage suspension, space age, industrial, mount / drop in the shape of a flying saucer, brushed aluminum, a stretch cord circa 1970. The piece has a chrome pull handle, which allows to change the length of the cord from a height of 69.5 cm retracted, up to 210 cm. Present and fully functional inside the ceiling support, is the original mechanism of the lamp, made by rolly with a hook to easily hang it on the ceiling. Underneath there is a circular plastic grid with 10 circles, which go from large to small, and 6 spokes that go to the edge of the lampshade. Also present are its three (3) original brass sockets that work with b-22 type bayonet bulbs in the shape of a flame (see photos.) although this lamp is similar to others made at the same time, it was determined that this model was manufactured in the early 1970s, as later models went from 3 sockets to 1 socket. Other charm; there are 12 small holes on the top of the lampshade, just below the neck, which also differ from similar models of this period. The lamp is in good general condition, original, vintage, with some signs, scratches and age and use marks on the lampshade, ceiling support, neck, pull handle and plastic grid (see photos), which do not affect its functionality. Beautiful patina of time on brushed aluminum, also related to age. (see photo.) the lamp has been tested and works perfectly (see photos.) When turned on, it emits a beautiful glow, from below and above, where the 12 small holes above the lampshade let the light through, really evoking the appearance and effects of a ufo. Works with flame bulbs type b22 not included. The grid and pull handle will need to be gently removed in order to insert the bulbs, then reinstalled, once the bulbs are in place.
