Nicole Marc – Poros, Greece – signed oil on canvas – 65 x 54.5 cm

Beautiful original oil on canvas by Nicole Marc, a French painter born in 1939, depicting Poros in Greece. The work is signed Nicole Marc at the bottom left and has a handwritten inscription on the back reading "POROS (GREECE)", along with an old reference "15F – Ref. 538". The composition features the colourful houses along the waterfront reflecting in the water, with mountainous reliefs in the background. A luminous and highly decorative piece, characteristic of Nicole Marc's figurative universe, where landscapes, travels, ports, gardens, and plays of light are frequently found. Nicole Marc is listed as a figurative painter, and her works are still exhibited in galleries today. Technique: oil on canvas. Artist: Nicole Marc. Subject: Poros, Greece.
