Red marble paperweight ashtray

You're probably wondering why my title says paperweight when it actually means an ashtray. Simply, because the underside of this ashtray is much prettier than the one on top, it catches the eye. That's why, personally, I will use it in a way that shows the underside! It would be red marble, but the color is deeper on the lower layer and grades towards pink and beige for the upper layer. Both sides are polished, while the edge has been left raw. It is heavy and stable and will serve very well as an ashtray as well as a very original paperweight placed upside down. It has traces of time and use, particularly on the upper side (numerous abrasions and scratches, perhaps you will be able to re-polish it to give it a beautiful shiny appearance?). It measures 18 cm by 15 cm with a thickness of 5.5 cm. It weighs approximately 1, 750 kg.
