Pair of armchairs in stained wood and leather, 20th century

Pair of armchairs in natural wood and faux leather. 20th century. Their stained wood frames have a dark finish and visible grain, giving them a warm appearance. The seat cushions are upholstered in dark brown faux leather with a grained texture and decorative upholstery tacks (intact). Very comfortable and supportive seats (seat height: 42 cm). Their backs are high and slightly curved for added comfort. A small arched cutout is featured in the upper rail. A central, vertical, openwork geometric pattern is typical of the Arts and Crafts style. Thick, sturdy armrests provide good support. Square legs taper slightly towards the bottom. Perfect stability. A charming blend of rustic and elegant style. Please note a small chip in the wood on the corner of one of the moldings and some signs of wear in places (see photo).
