Mobile serving cart, 1970s bar

Rolling serving cart in brass and smoked glass, France 1967, marked S.G.D.G. Registered design. Elegant rolling serving cart from the 1960s in gilt brass and smoked glass. Gilt brass frame, two black smoked glass shelves framed by openwork galleries. Large spoked rear wheels with rubber rims, small swivel casters at the front. Refined French craftsmanship in the style of Maison Jansen or Maison Baguès. An iconic piece of furniture from the post-war boom years, perfect as a side table or mobile bar. Condition: very good overall condition, gilding well preserved with some minor wear that gives it a lovely patina. The glass shelves are in very good condition, with a few light scratches consistent with age.
