100% original and relatively rare scandinavian designer desklamp by svend aage holm sørensen from around 1960. Brass shade and base with rose wooden rod. 2 lightbulbs with separate on/off switch. Svend aage holm sørensen started designing lamps during the early 1950s. First for other danish companies such as fog & mørup and lyfa. Later he started working for himself and got specialized in working with brass and copper. This model also exists in blank aluminium. Specs: Height: 52 cm. Shade: ø36 cm. Base: ø18 cm. In overall very good condition. Few oxidation spots. Can be polished away but they suit its vintage age. Shade is not one hunderd percent flawless but nevertheless in very good condition (see pictures). Beautiful & timeless combination of brass metal & warm rose wood. A unique scandinavian designer desklamp.
