Designed by Kho Liang Ie for Artifort in the 1970s, this elegant T100 coffee table is a fine example of Dutch modernist design. Its understated geometry and carefully considered proportions allow the quality of the materials to speak for themselves. The table features its original anodised aluminium frame with beautifully rounded corner details, combined with the original smoke glass top. The restrained palette of aluminium and smoked glass gives the piece a timeless appearance that integrates effortlessly into both contemporary and vintage interiors. This example measures 80 × 80 cm with a height of 40 cm, making it an ideal coffee table or side table. The table is structurally sound, stable and remains in very good vintage condition. As expected from an original piece of over fifty years old, the softer aluminium shows light scratches and signs of use, while the glass also bears the gentle traces of a well-cared-for life. These age-related marks contribute to its authenticity and character rather than detract from it. Designer: Kho Liang Ie. Manufacturer: Artifort. Model: T100. Country: The Netherlands. Period: 1970s.
