A pair of wooden wall shelves dating from the early 1950s, featuring a design that is both understated and refined. Each shelf consists of a top with delicately sculpted edges, showcasing elegant groove work on the front, along with two darker stained turned wooden rods at the back, adding rhythm and depth to the whole. This interplay of contrasts and details reflects meticulous craftsmanship, typical of decorative furniture from this period. Their elongated format makes them ideal for holding books, decorative objects, or small wall collections. One of the shelves is in very good condition. The second has two small veneer losses located on the left side (one on the edge and one on the lower part), visible but discreet and without impact on the sturdiness or overall aesthetics once in place. These are uncommon pieces, particularly interesting as a pair to elegantly and lightly structure a wall.
