Mid-century armchair by Ole Wanscher for Fritz Hansen, stained beech and leather.

This partially heavily patinated chair was designed and created in 1942 by Ole Wanscher and manufactured by Fritz Hansen in Denmark. The chair itself is made of stained beech. The seat is in black leather. The stained colour has worn in several places, creating a beautiful natural patina, and in some cases, there is visible wear on the legs. The leather has two cracked areas. We wanted to preserve this unrestored condition. Fair condition.
