Simple folding chairs from Ikea designed by Tord Björklund in the late 1980s. A minimalist design. The chair frame is made of painted black wood. A black canvas fabric serves as the seat and backrest, stretched over the two frames of the chair. A black metal cross at the back stabilises the chair when it is open. The lower part of the cross rests in notches on the wood of the lower frame. The headrest is removable and consists of a metal support on which a coat is placed. The metal frame is concave, allowing the head to rest on the stretched fabric.
