Old tastevin cup in shell pewter - hallmark crowned with flowers and clovers

This pretty tastevin is in pewter from the beginning of the 20th century. It is decorated with a shell on the socket. The wine taster allows in oenology to examine a wine, to look at it, to smell it and to taste it. The hollows and bumps in the tastevin multiply the reflections of the ambient light, which makes it possible to analyze the color of the wine tasted. It measures 11.5 X 8.5 cm X 2.5 cm high. It bears a crowned hallmark decorated with a rose and clovers.
