Original vintage gucci italy - metal stirrup goblet - c.1970, set of 2 animal head goblets, handmade in italy - heavy and solid pieces to brighten up your home! A real conversation piece! Beautiful and rare silver plated stirrup goblet featuring the head of a wild animal. Made in italy in the late 1960s by gucci, signed on the neck. Excellent quality with beautiful and detailed carvings on the head. In very good condition with no dents or damage. These goblets are part of a set of stirrup goblets, often used in the early to mid 1900s at hunting events. Before or after the hunt, a drink would be shared between the hunters while still mounted on their horses. A beautiful set of 2 vintage italian silver stirrup goblets, in the shape of a stag, beautifully executed and signed by the luxury house of gucci. These impressive stirrup goblets are silver plated by a professional silversmith recently. The handle is in the shape of a finely detailed stag's head. The rim of the neck is signed 'gucci' and 'italy' and they made a series of these goblets featuring different animals. Highly collectible and in superb condition, dating from the 1960s/1970s. Comprising 2 stag heads. Each is signed 'gucci' and 'made in italy'. The set is in very good condition with no damage to the metal and the details are crisp and precise. Set of 2 silver stirrup goblets with animal heads, beautifully executed and signed by the luxury house of gucci.
