This large wardrobe with a strong character, carefully restored, embodies the understated and geometric elegance of French furniture from the interwar period. Materials: oak, original glass with small wood frames, locks and keyholes in period metal. Features: this Art Deco wardrobe is divided into three parts: two solid doors with panels frame a central glazed door with eight panes above a solid panel door. The lines are decidedly straight, without superfluous moulding or ornamentation, a hallmark of the Art Deco style in bourgeois furniture of the 1930s. The oak, with its generous and visible grain, gives the piece a warm presence despite its simplicity. The interior offers ample storage space, suitable for books, crockery, or linen: the shelves in the upper section are height-adjustable thanks to a rack system, while the shelves in the lower section have a fixed height. All doors lock, and a key is available. The wardrobe is fully dismountable. It will be delivered either assembled or disassembled (with instructions and photos for easy reassembly). Renovation: the Art Deco wardrobe has been completely sanded and then washed. It has been left in raw wood, giving it an authentic and natural character. Dimensions: L141 X D36.5 X H184. Left and right cupboards: L41 X D32.5 X H170. Central section (top): L54.5 X D32.5 X H103. Central section (bottom): L54.5 X D32.5 X H64.5. Shelf spacing: 31-32. This Art Deco wardrobe constitutes a centrepiece for an interior that blends the old and the contemporary. Its stripped wood integrates naturally into a natural, wabi-sabi, or vintage decor.
