Round butterfly dining table by Lübke, 1960s, teak

A perfectly shaped round butterfly dining table that combines the characteristic lightness of mid-century design and functionality. Designed in the 1960s, the design impresses with its clear, unobtrusive lines. The round basic shape is supported by elegantly tapered, conical legs that give the object a floating aesthetic. Made of warm, medium to dark brown teak wood, the workmanship demonstrates a high level of craftsmanship. The intelligent construction conceals a practical butterfly extension that blends seamlessly into the overall look. Very good restored condition with slight signs of use.
