Mirror

Very beautiful antique French mirror from the 19th century (circa 1850–1880), made of carved and gilded wood, inspired by the neo-Louis XV style. The frame features a rich decoration of scrolls, foliage, and flowers, topped with a sculpted pediment depicting a skull surrounded by putti, a rare iconography evoking themes of the passage of time and vanity.
