The plates are in very good condition, no accidents, no cracks or lacks. The enamel remained very fresh, they were not used much. However, they are old, and some have some slight variations in hue in the basin, in the form of rare spots a little darker than the original white, which is like mottling. However, it is discreet, and it contributes to the charm of the object. We can also see on the outer edges small marks hollow in the enamel but which are not accidents, and correspond to the marks left by the claws that allow to hold the plates during manufacture, at the time of enamelling. The décor extends over the marli in the form of frieze, and stylized vegetable garlands of classic style. The plates are heavy and opulent, very well made, they come from the famous faienceries of lunéville, founded in the eighteenth century in lorraine. The plates are marked on the reverse of the stamp of the faiencerie, lunéville, with the addition k & g for keller and guérin, which appeared as early as 1832. Also hollow under enamel a letter indicating the name molder. Here, the transfer decoration indicates a production of the late nineteenth. These are hollow plates, the lugano model, with light, elegant and timeless décor.
