René lalique (1860-1945). Important circular dish, the slightly wavy border, in molded-pressed white glass with rich decoration, patinated with acid, of a set of dandelion leaves all converging towards the center of the dish. Model "dandelions" created in 1921 by rené lalique and appearing in the tariffs of 1928, 1932 and 1947; not continued beyond 1947. Decoration documented in the catalogue raisonné (marcilhac, 2004: 752), refer to references n°3230 in particular, then 3215, 3007 and 3025. It is therefore an old production by rené lalique (and not a modern lalique production france). Signature incised in capital letters in the center of the dish, "r. Lalique". Around 1930. Dimensions: diameter of 31.8 cm; height of about 3 cm. Condition report: beautiful condition (no shine, no clouding of the glass or particular alteration), but a small wear of use, normal, which is manifested by some scratches inside the dish, illustrated on photo. Some folds of original glassware (this does not constitute wear); thin stripes in the center of the dish, not very visible; other stripes, a little more marked, on the periphery of the edge of the dish. Overall, this dish has remained in excellent condition, as these stripes, although present, remain quite inconspicuous. They are part of the history of the object. The dish retains its decorative and useful appearance; it remains very well preserved, without shine or shock or accident.
