Table bistrot 1930

This bistro table that dates from the 1920s/30s is amazing by the shape of the feet. Usually round feet are designed for pedestals but they then have 3 supports for the tray and not 2 as here. This confirms the table as it is made with a rectangular tray that is 120x63 cm. The feet were stripped, passed slightly to graphite wax in order to keep the traces of his previous life, I added a metal circle of 40 cm for better stability. The tray is tinted in teak color and satin varnish in 3 layers, I painted the edge black to give it a more refined look. Each foot weighs 14kg and the 8kg plateau.
