Triennale lounge chair - Gelderland - ROB PARRY

A 'triennial' high back chair in original condition. This dutch design by rob parry for the manufacturer gelderland dates from 1953. The chair has a solid round black lacquered beech frame with flattened armrests and grey fabric upholstery which is still in good condition. The condition of the black lacquered wooden frame is good and shows some wear and patina. It's a very early edition and over time the webbing has been repaired. This makes the easy chair still comfortable and usesable. The chair is at least 65 years old and shows the necessary patina and signs of use. This gives the chair a unique and individual character.
