A superb vintage Danish mid-century modern two-seater sofa, designed by the renowned Stouby furniture factory during the 1970s. Combining sculptural elegance, exceptional craftsmanship and inviting comfort, this distinctive sofa is a wonderful example of Scandinavian modernist design. Upholstered in luxurious cognac-coloured leather, the sofa features feather and foam filling the the cushions on the seat backrest, and armrest cushions, complemented by beautifully flared armrests .The rich cognac tones of the leather create a warm, sophisticated aesthetic, while the elegant dark wooden frame add a striking contemporary contrast. The leather has recently been treated by our in-house professional leather restorer, helping to revive its softness and suppleness while preserving its beautiful vintage character and authentic retro appeal.
