Antique beech table, France early 20th century

This antique French workbench is made of solid beech and comes from a workshop in Vichy, France. It dates from the early 20th century, around 1900–1930. The bench features a robust and functional design, characteristic of traditional French workshop benches. The thick, single-piece top (10 cm) is surrounded by a wide apron (13.5 cm), contributing to its stability and durability. On the left side, the workbench is equipped with a large original screw vice, while the right side has an adjustable locking spindle. At the back, there are two integrated tool holders. An additional drawer is located at the back left, providing convenient storage space. The surface shows signs of age and use consistent with its history, including marks, wear, and a patina developed over time. It is in good antique condition with visible signs of use, wear, and patina appropriate for its age. Structurally sound.
