Mid-Century Armchair "300-110" by GFM, Poland, 1960s

The 300-110 armchair was manufactured in the gościcińska furniture factory in the 1960s. This is a rare model, also manufactured in a version with removable armrests and transformed into a modular sofa. The upholstery fabric is yellow, with a narrow piping running along the edge of the seat, emphasizing the shape. The turned legs and armrests are made of solid beech wood. There are few models that, like the 300-110, represent the essence of the 1960s style. It is worth paying attention to the balanced proportions of the armchair, the massive comfortable seat set on slender legs that taper downwards.
