Vintage 4-drawer chest of drawers by Capelle, circa 1960s

Mid-century vintage chest of drawers, 1960s-1970s. The chest of drawers is made of gilded oak veneer and rests on tapered legs. It has four large, very clean and functional drawers (each measuring 83.5 cm L x 33.5 cm D x 13 cm H), and their eight original metal-colored handles. Note: there is very slight resistance on the bottom drawer when fully opened. The chest of drawers is in good overall, original, and vintage condition, with some age-related marks and signs of use, as well as a patina of age on the structure in general, the top (see photos next to a 1 cent coin for better perspective), on the center front of the right side panel, as well as on the drawers, the legs, and the lower panel above the legs (see photos). Maker's mark present. The piece has been gently cleaned to preserve its original patina. All photos were taken in natural light, outdoors.
