Antique Madgalithe fish set made in France

Ivory ceramic fish set with gold highlights, signed Magdalite – Made in France. It includes: • 8 plates (Ø 23 cm), • 1 large serving platter (63 X 22 cm), • 1 matching sauce boat (L. 26 cm, H. 9 cm). Work from the 1950s/60s. Condition: Set in good overall condition, showing some signs of use: slight wear to the gilding in places, as well as small, discreet chips and abrasions under some plates. Nothing is really visible during use; the centers of the plates remain clean and perfectly usable. The set retains all its charm and remains uniform, without any cracks.
