Primavera Vase for Spring in French Art Deco blue ceramic

A very large Primavera vase, made of glazed ceramic with a blue background covered with a darker flowing glaze. Manufactured by Primavera under the direction of Colette Gueden and distributed by the French department store Printemps. Primavera, the "Art Atelier du Printemps" (Spring Art Workshop), was founded in 1912 and its mission was to introduce art into everyday life and promote French craftsmanship. Colette Gueden was in charge from 1938 to 1972. In the 1950s and 1960s, she called upon several ceramic artists and artisans such as Pol Chambost, Madoura, Suzanne Ramié, etc. In 1972, everything was completed.
