Mid-century wooden buffet by Stjepan Sekulic, 1970s

The magnificent sideboard from the oldest Yugoslav furniture manufacturer, Drvno Industrijski Kombinat Stjepan Sekulić, from the Croatian town of Nova Gradiška. Made in the early 1970s, it has been preserved in excellent condition to this day. The sideboard is nearly half a century old and, of course, shows some signs of use and time. For example, a small defect is clearly visible in the last photo. Made from solid wood, plywood, and particle board, it is veneered in mahogany and bird's eye maple. The combination of mahogany and bird's eye maple offers an unprecedented colourful effect and highlights the beauty of each wood separately. The lock and key are original, and the lock functions. The sideboard is durable and stable. The original marking is preserved on the back cover. It will become the focal point and true decoration of your home. Your guests will not be able to take their eyes off it! During transport, the legs will be unscrewed.
