It is a hallmark of Italian Mid-Century Modernism and was manufactured by the Italian company Arflex. The chair features a curved, enveloping shape and tapered brass legs, reflecting this classic design. The design is clearly derived from Zanuso's work, with the 'Senior' model being a similar, slightly taller, and more upright version of the 'Lady' chair.
