Large Spanish table from the 18th century

Exceptional Spanish table dating from the 18th century, probably an old farmhouse or community table. Its imposing top is made of wide and thick solid wood planks, resting on a trestle base connected by a long stretcher. The wood has a remarkable patina, deeply marked by several centuries of use: wear, irregularities, marks, and old repairs all contribute to the character of the piece. The table is stable and in good condition considering its age. It was brought back from Spain in the 1960s. A spectacular piece, with its three metres in length allowing it to comfortably accommodate 10 to 12 people while maintaining a depth of around 80 cm, making it relatively easy to integrate into an interior.
