3 gilded bronze fireplace accessories 2 andirons and 1 fire bar

A 19th century napoleon III style gilt bronze firebar. It features rich ornamentation with openwork and symmetrical designs including scrolls, stylized foliage and floral elements. The ends are topped with decorative finials in the shape of carved urns or torches. It was used to protect the front of a fireplace, preventing embers and ashes from spreading while adding a refined decorative touch to the entire fireplace. Heavily used with minor defects the andirons are adjustable on the bar, maximum length 80 cm depth 11 cm height 26.50 cm weight 3.909 kg.
