Description
Charming chinese plate of the pink family, dating from the eighteenth century. It has a polychrome décor with floral and vegetable motifs. The dominant colors are pink and red, but other colors like blue and green are also used. The various decorative elements are made of enamel and by hand. In china, pink porcelain is the one that is mastered the later. It is recognizable by the use of flowers or bouquets. Chinese porcelain was imported en masse in the 17th and 18th centuries, then declined. Indeed, the french have managed to master this technique.
