Trivet, plate Creation Val d'Or Gien

It's hard to say what this pretty ceramic was intended for with a beautiful mustard or caramel glaze decorated with a fern leaf pattern in slight relief. It is only very, very slightly hollow (2 mm difference between the edge and the center), relatively small in size... A trivet. A cheese or pastry presentation plate. Today it can be used for all these purposes, but will also look great in accumulation for a trendy and original wall decoration. The ferns and this pretty color typical of the 60s and 70s will bring a natural and vintage touch to your interior. It is stamped "made in france", "création val d'or" which is a branch of the gien earthenware factory ("fg" logo also present). The aesthetics of the logo, which would have been used from 1956, confirms the period. This small tray is in very good condition, no cracks, no chips, not even a chip. It measures 18 cm in diameter with a maximum height of 1.5 cm.
