Antique tin-glazed plate with a polychrome floral decoration, entirely hand-painted. The central basin features a significant hollow ruby red rose with shaded gradients, surrounded by green foliage, blue and pink flowers, and fine free scrolls executed with a brush in a popular and regional spirit characteristic of old artisanal productions. The rim is adorned with a hand-painted raspberry pink radiating decoration, forming a dynamic and highly decorative border. The piece stands out for its spontaneous brushwork, variations in glaze, and vivid colours, typical of old hand-decorated earthenware. The piece has a hand-stamped shape with slight irregularities in the modelling, reflecting its ancient artisanal manufacture. The reverse retains traces of kiln supports, marks left by the firing supports, characteristic of old tin-glazed earthenware from the 18th and 19th centuries. The glazes are thick and high-fired, typical of old earthenware. Likely a regional work from Eastern France or Central Europe, dating from the mid-19th century. In good antique condition with signs of use, small firing irregularities, and slight wear consistent with its age, contributing to the authenticity and charm of the piece. It has a very beautiful decorative presence for collection, wall display, or characterful interiors. Diameter 23 cm.
