Standing an impressive 31 cm tall, they exemplify mid-to-late 20th century German art glass with a bold colour-contrast design. Each glass features a clear, flared / conical shaped bowl atop a slender emerald green stem and matching green circular foot, accented by a vibrant cobalt blue ring at the junction of the bowl and stem. These tall, colourful stem glasses were produced as statement decorative pieces rather than everyday drink ware. They were really popular in the 1960s - 1980s for their sculptural elegance and bold aesthetic.
