Set of 4 vintage ceramic mugs made in Staffordshire, England, by Royal Alma. The mugs have a dark brown underground with yellow animals imprinted on them. The set has a rooster mug, a fish mug, an elephant mug and an owl mug. A real retro collector's item from the 1970s. Each mug has the animal stamped on it 3 times, to make the design go around the entire mug. Size per mug: Width: 8 cm / 3.14 inch. Length: 11.5 cm / 4.52 inch. Height: 7.8 cm / 3.07 inch. Weight: 957 gram / 33.75 ounce (combined weight of all 4 mugs) NOTE: the elephant mug has some lighter spots on the rim. It's not chipped, but the glazing is a little thinner here (see photos). About the creator: Royal Alma, Staffordshire, UK. Royal Alma was a brand name used by Thomas Cone. By the 1950s, as part of Staffordshire Potteries (Holdings) Ltd.
