Medieval Gothic round table high period castle

Exceptional round table in medieval castle style haute époque with traces of ancient restoration. Model composed of a powerful 4-foot base in lion's paws surmounted by 4 carved columns supporting a thick round-shaped tray assembled by 4 folded wrought iron plates in the shape of a fleur-de-lys. Assembly entirely made with key and forged nails. Rare table in good general condition for its age but presence of very old wear especially on one of the feet and slight lacks on the tray. Diameter 154cm. Height under the legs 73cm. Dinner height 78cm.
